Revit Modeller

FDG Group specialises in building services modelling, with our current projects spread across WA, QLD, NSW & VIC, we require an additional Revit Modeller to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be working collaboratively with the wider team to deliver a steady pipeline of exciting nationally based projects.

FDG Group are experts in BIM services and digital drafting, with knowledge and expertise acquired in the Electrical, Hydraulic & Mechanical building industry in Australia and internationally over the last 20 years.

 

We provide Revit modelling, CAD drafting and BIM Management for all types of buildings.

 

We continue to complete and deliver an exciting and diverse portfolio of design projects Australia wide.  These projects range from multi-high-rise buildings, childcare centres, aged care facilities, government, and NPI projects.

About the Role

 

This role will work closely with our Lead Modeller .  You will be passionate about modelling and be expected to liaise with clients, architects, and other members of our internal team with confidence and clarity.

You will be committed to the development of high-quality models and solutions for our clients by having a solid understanding of design principles, standards, codes, and practical design experience.

 

Necessary Qualifications, Skills and Experience required for this role

 

To be considered for this role, you should be able to hold or demonstrate the following qualifications, skills and experience:

  • Tertiary qualification relevant to mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic services
  • 5+ years’ experience in Revit Modelling
  • Be able to navigate a Navisworks model
  • Be able to participate in coordination meetings
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and REVIT
  • Experience in multi services coordination (Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic)
  • Ability to prioritise and think strategically about timing and method of delivering project information.
  • Strong project management and services coordination experience.

To be considered for this role, you should be able to hold or demonstrate the following qualifications, skills and experience:

  • Demonstrated and proven experience in the construction industry
  • A basic understanding of Services Design & Costing (Mechanical, Electrical, and Hydraulic)
  • An understanding of how to read drawings
  • A high level of written and verbal communication
  • Strong client liaison and relationship building skills and excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills
  • Highly motivated and self-driven and able to work autonomously
  • A team player who will fit in our family orientated culture
  • Experience working with a CRM (HubSpot Preferred)
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite with extensive experience in Excel
